The new youth and sports complex is designed in a clean, modern style with black and white accents. Despite the need for a large building area, the architects aimed for a compact footprint and high-quality outdoor space. The positioning of the new buildings, outdoor spaces and additional parking is clearly integrated within the existing sports facilities.
A traffic-free access path on the east side of the site provides access to both the existing and new accommodations. B-architects committed to integral accessibility to the entire complex, with clear walkways that facilitate orientation for each user.
Multi-purpose sports hall, cafeteria and offices
The sports hall is multifunctional thanks to its combination sports floor, which is suitable for numerous sports. In addition, the hall can be divided into three sections, each accessible through its own entrance. The indoor and outdoor changing rooms are strategically positioned so that they can be flexibly combined.
On the second floor is a grandstand that connects to a compact, multipurpose room for smaller group classes. The offices of the sports and youth departments are next door and overlook the outdoor space.

Central to the complex is the cafeteria with a spacious, south-facing terrace. The terrace is accessed via an outdoor staircase from the access path, attracting not only athletes and youth center visitors, but also local residents and passersby.
Interactive youth center
The youth center includes a multipurpose space used for after-school care, playground activities, homework assistance and creative workshops. There is also a music room and classrooms, accessed through a so-called “experience corridor”: instead of traditional corridors, the designers chose a wider space that is not only functional, but also functions as a lounge with playful and relaxing elements.
The youth center will also have a place within the youth wing. In its design, B-architects considers the various spaces as independent entities, each with its own access and support facilities.
Quality outdoor space
The outdoor space on the west side provides both a sheltered cocoon with covered and paved play areas and a green zone with a natural play environment, where children can indulge in play elements made of natural materials.
Additional parking is provided on the east side for larger events. A rubber play floor with built-in trampolines, playful seating areas, the wide access path, permeable parking lots and strategically placed trees create an attractive second outdoor space here.
